Designing Android application



Designing an Android application is made simple by Google.
just log in to http://appinventor.googlelabs.com with your google account.


In your web browser, go to the App Inventor Web site at http://appinventor.googlelabs.com. If this is the first time you've used App Inventor, you'll see the Projects page, with no projects in it yet. It should look like this:


Create a new project

  1. Click New on the left side, near the top of the page.
  2. Enter the project name and click OK.
The browser will open the Designer, the place where you select components for your app, and should look like this:



Steps for selecting components and setting properties


  1. Drag and drop the Button component to Screen1. The Button component is located under Palette.
  2. Click on Button1 listed under Components.
  3. In the list of properties, under image, click on none...
  4. Click add.
  5. Upload the the kitty.png file.
  6. Delete Text for Button1 listed under the Text property.
Your Designer should look like this:

download and install a emulator (http://dl.google.com/dl/appinventor/installers/windows/appinventor_setup_installer_v_1_1.exe) or directly connect your Android phone and tou are done.........................
