Designing an Android application is made simple by Google.
just log in to http://appinventor.googlelabs.com with your google account.

In your web browser, go to the App Inventor Web site at http://appinventor.googlelabs.com. If this is the first time you've used App Inventor, you'll see the Projects page, with no projects in it yet. It should look like this:

The browser will open the Designer, the place where you select components for your app, and should look like this:

Steps for selecting components and setting properties

  1. Drag and drop the Button component to Screen1. The Button component is located under Palette.
  2. Click on Button1 listed under Components.
  3. In the list of properties, under image, click on none...
  4. Click add.
  5. Upload the the kitty.png file.
  6. Delete Text for Button1 listed under the Text property.
Your Designer should look like this:

Speed Up Your Firefox

step 1.Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit enter. Scroll down and look for the following entries:

network.http.pipelining network.http.proxy.pipelining network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.

2. Alter the entries as follows:

Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.

3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.

If you're using a broadband connection you'll load pages MUCH faster now!

Please do all this very carefully

i can take ur queries but m not responsible if ur firefox works defectively For more information click here

LG Optimus One vs Samsung Galaxy 3

Its been a great competition between the 2 anaroid phones Optimus and Galaxy 3 in their segment. Here is a quick comparison between these phones.............
LG Optimus One vs Samsung Galaxy 3

Both handsets come fully loaded with features and while similar in many aspects,a few functions here and there differ to the extent that it could make or break a buying decision. The LG Optimus One is sleek looking device thats got almost as many goodies as its oponent.Optimus One has a better hardware. Looks good, very business like, on the other hand Galaxy 3 looks very dull and childish. There are 7 Home Screens in Optimus One, which is very advantageous.

When it comes to processing power , Galaxy is a slightly higher than the Optimus so where it lacks in looks, it makes up for in power. But the difference isnt much. Both are equipped with 3.1 megapixel cameras that feature unique and easy to use UIs with plenty of relevant settings. When it come to picture quality, they're also in the same league. So the choice gets even harder. Both are also equipped to play DivX and XviD coded files and come with built-in GPS.Twice HSPDA speed 7.2 for optimus (Galaxy 3 is at 3.2 MBPS).

Therefore undoubtably the winner is LG Optimus One For more information click here

Vodafone Broadband 3g USB stick

So called Vodafone Broadband 3g USB stick has arrived in the market..I really got amazed with their offers but was really tentative about buying it.I analysed the market ,Jotted down my requirements.I needed  wireless broadband which can catter 2 my browsing & downloading needs on a go. I download a lot and hence needed a unlimited plan for cheap rates.

The Vodafone Broadband 3g USB stick cost me Rs 1750 with a postpaid corporate plan with Rs 590 per month with tax. They say that it is 3g ready........

Its been 2 month i am using it and really pissed off with it.The speed is really slow on an average downloading speeds are arround 6-30kbps.I always wonder why they call it broadband. The speed sucks at low speed.Browsing speed is also similar to a dialup connection. It uses gprs technology and can never give better speeds(without 3g) compared to the cellphones connected to your computers.I am eagerly waiting for the vodafone 3g launch .They plan to launch 3g in january or february. They are also tentative about the prices after the launch of 3g.

I advice every one that Vodafone Broadband USB stick is not a good buy atleast till 3g arrives. For more information click here
